It's That Time of Year Again.

Chloe is on a competitive cheer team again this year. The competition season starts tomorrow. Last night the girls dressed in their uniforms and showed their routines to friends and family. They still need to work on a few things, but they are doing great. There are a couple of 11 year olds, but most of the girls are 8 and under.

Small towns...gotta love em.

We had another Fun Festival in our town. Chloe performed with choir. Jeremy and Christy came with Abigail and Joey. Also Mom is here for a visit from Arizona.

JD and Joey. I have this picture in my head but was expecting to see it in about 14 years.

JD realized that Abi isn't his blood relation, I think.

Can't beleive we let the girls ride on this rickety thing.

While the girls rode, Joey and JD made a jungle gym out of Brett.

Trying to decide which death trap they wanted to ride first.

I guess this is the only shot of Grandma Sheila I got today.

Cute boys!!

Cousins make the best friends!!!

Reminds me of the old days.

My 2 cents.

I have thought throughout the entire election process how President Bush has become everyone's whipping boy. Most thinking people know that the executive branch of government truthfully has very little power. Congress really deserves our thanks and our anger for where the country stands right now. Most of the issues were brought about long before Bush dusted off his cowboy boots and came to Washington. We certainly have to remember that he has been blocked at every turn by partisan "representatives". It is impossible to make everyone happy especially Washington "fat cats" that only look out for themselves and definitely not their own constituents. I remember my feelings during and following 9/11 and how very thankful I was to have him as our leader. I was thankful then and am thankful now that he had executive experience and was able to handle that tragic situation with calm and with resoluteness. Do I think he is the greatest president ever...no, but I also do not think that he is the worst. I think his treatment over the last 2 years has been an absolute disgrace and shows a complete lack of class. "The treatment President Bush has received from this country is nothing less than a disgrace. The attacks launched against him have been cruel and slanderous, proving to the world what little character and resolve we have. The president is not to blame for all these problems. He never lost faith in America or her people, and has tried his hardest to continue leading our nation during a very difficult time.
Our failure to stand by the one person who continued to stand by us has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. It has shown to the world how disloyal we can be when our president needed loyalty -- a shameful display of arrogance and weakness that will haunt this nation long after Mr. Bush has left the White House." (Jeffery Scott Shapiro)
Lets hope that the Obamaites don't turn on "The One" as quickly.
