Happy New Year!!

We had a great time with neighbors and friends. We had a hot dog roast and shot off fireworks and drank hot chocolate until the finale at midnight. The kids had a GREAT time. Chloe, of course, had no fear, and JohnDavid was the sparkler king. At midnight we all hugged and kissed, then we noticed Chloe chasing Gage around the house trying to get a hug. She finally gave up and settled for me and Brett.

The first time she needed someone to hold her hand. Then it was all her.

Chloe and Gage wanted to set theirs of at the exact same time.

Christmas Better late than Never

Chloe was in Oklahoma with her Dad for Christmas this year. We waited until she got home to open gifts. JohnDavid didn't know the difference. Their big brother Christopher sent them BYU "stuff". Other big hits were the Karaoke machine for Chloe and the bike for JohnDavid.

Christmas Program and "Flying"

Chloe has decided that she wants to try "flying" in cheer leading. I have always comforted myself by saying she is to tall, she will always be a base. She has other ideas, unfortunately.

SNOW in HOUSTON!!!

I know, I know snow happens all the time, no big deal. Except that it doesn't snow in Houston. So if the impossible happens and it does? We get excited...then the city shuts down.
